Halloween Parties in SF: Top 21+ Celebrations in 2025

Get ready for this year's Halloween parties in SF! Since this fun holiday falls on a Friday this year, you can expect several fun events the weekend before, but most on the Friday and Saturday night of the holiday.
Many of these annual 21+ parties include several rooms of dance music, costume contests, and drinks all night long. Buy your tickets early as many of them sell out!

Terror Vault: The Initiation
- Dates: 10/2 - 11/1, 2025
- If you're looking for something a little different, dive into the Initiation, Terror Vault's recruitment seminar for the spiritual cult "INsight," which will open your eyes to true consciousness and help you see what's hiding in the dark.
- Tickets start at $60.
- Head over to the historic San Francisco Mint for this adventure.
- You can also start and end your spooky experience with no cover at Fang Bang, an 80s New Wave/Goth pop-up bar serving up Halloween cocktails and bites.
Halloween Mega International Ball
- Friday, October 31
- 9 pm to 2 am
- Head over to the W Hotel for this year's Halloween International Ball.
- Starting at 9 pm, you can enjoy five rooms of great music: the Main Room (EDM, house, Top 40, club anthems), the Latin Room, the Persian Room, and the Hip-hop/Mash-up 80s and 90s Room.
- World-renowned DJs and performers include DJ Aykut, DJ Santero, DJ Kevin Armstrong, and more. They will perform alongside live drummers.

SF Halloween Bar Crawl
- Friday, October 31
- 5 pm to 11 pm
- This pub crawl includes drink specials and free entry at several bars and pubs around San Francisco.
- All cover charges are included. You MUST check in at the Comet Club SF between 5 pm and 9 pm.
- It's a fun way to experience some of SF's top clubs all in one night!

Crawloween: San Francisco Halloween Pub Crawl
- Three Crawloweens this year: Friday, October 24, Saturday, October 25 and Friday, October 31
- Starts at 6 pm both Fridays and at 2 pm on Saturday
- Starts at Mayes Oyster House at 1233 Polk Street
- Drink specials, Halloween decorations, contests and party favorites
Naughty Lingerie Halloween Party
- Two parties, first is on October 31 at 8 pm; second night is on November 1 at 8 pm
- Temple Bar at 834 Irving Street
- Show off your sexiest costumes
- 100 models in lingerie and body paint
- Prizes for the best dressed and a night full of tricks and treats
Trick or Drink Halloween Bar Crawl
- This 3-Day bar crawl event is on Saturday 10/25, Friday 10/31 and Saturday 11/1.
- It starts at the NorthStar Cafe in North Beach.
- Friday registration is between 6 pm and 11 pm and is when you will get your wristband, map, and other details.
- Check in on Saturday is from 4 pm to 10 pm and check in on Thursday is from 6 pm to 10 pm.

The Black Pearl Halloween Yacht Party
- Friday, October 31 from 9:30 pm to 1 am on the San Francisco Spirit, board at Pier 3 (Hornblower Landing)
- This Black Pearl Halloween Party offers three decks of fun with two DJs and a three-hour cruise with amazing views.
- Check in beings at 9:15 pm, boarding starts at 9:40 pm at Pier 3, gates close at 9:55 pm (no refunds if you are late), cruise sets sail at 10 pm and returns at 1 am.
- Costumes are required. Tickets range from $38 to $300 (plus fees and taxes).

NightLife Halloween
- California Academy of Sciences 21+ Halloween Event
- October 30 from 6 pm to 10 pm, last entry at 9 pm
- All exhibits are open
- Bars are on the Main Floor and in the downstairs aquarium with cocktails, beer and wine available for sale. Non-alcoholic drinks also available.
- Academy Café will offer ready to serve food with a few special treats just for Halloween.
- You can roam all around the museum with your drink, but limited to where you can eat.
